2018 discovered a true star. This unknown from Israel came onto the stage with a song unlike any other heard on the Eurovision stage with a bang. Or rather, a hoard of golden cats!

Her song is instantly catchy, however confusing it is - her use of modern references brings any one in. It's a clever track, utilizing Netta's vocal skills and it's the first time we ever see any vocal looping at Eurovision. Her amazing ability to recreate a tough recorded track live with a crazy visual interpretation from some odd dancers - this girl deserved her win, despite the controversy that would follow (because, Israel).
