2014: The Guilty

TIJANA WITH "TO THE SKY" FOR NORTH MACEDONIA

This was an extreme dark horse in the competition. I liked it but I wasn't so sure it would do well, it'd need to have a fantastic performance to get into the final. The 2014 semi-finals had the least amount of competition, with only 15-16 acts performing per show. With less songs to choose from, the public would be more discerning.

North Macedonia would need to have a knock out performance and sadly, they just didn't have it. The energy needed wasn't there and some cues were missed. Her vocals were off but she did pull herself together after the bridge. Hitting the end is never enough, though, and Tijana failed to qualify. The "To The Sky" recording is still a good listen, there's even a Macedonian version. 

Semi-Final Score: 33 pts (13th place out of 15)
